
An English classic and an easy warmer on a cold Winters day!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups plain flour
2 large eggs
1 pint milk
8 sausages
Method
1. Arrange the 8 sausages in a large baking tin.
2. Make a smooth batter by beating the eggs into the flour and gradually adding the milk, stirring frequently.
3. Pour the batter over the 8 sausages and cook in the oven until risen and golden at 220 degrees C for around 35-40 minutes.
4. Toad in the hole is best served with onion gravy.
