Prawns with Garlic & Chilli Recipe
Ingredients
400g green prawn meat
2 birdseye chillis, finely chopped
4 large cloves of garlic, finely chopped
400 mls pouring cream
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp brandy
salt & pepper
Method
1. Meat a large frying pan on medium heat and melt butter until foaming
2. Fry garlic for a minute or so, making sure it doesn’t brown
3. Add chilli and fry for a further minute
4. Mix in the raw prawns and toss until pink and no longer translucent
5. Add the brandy and stir for a couple of seconds
6. Next, add in the cream and simmer for 1 minute
7. Add the salt and pepper to taste
serve with plain rice or loads of crusty bread
