I make this at least once a week, it is easy to make and doesn’t use a huge amount of kitchen utensils so not so much washing up!
500g Beef mince
2 x 400g tinned tomatoes
1 chopped carrot
1 chopped onion, large
4 cloves garlic
Red chillis (optional)
Mixed italian herbs
1. Heat a large pan with a tablespoon of oil, add in the chopped onion and garlic and fry for 1-2 mins.
2. Add in the beef and brown for 5 mins, then add in the carrot, mushrooms, chillis, chopped tomotoes and herbs. Cover the pan and allow to simmer for around 25 mins.
3. Cook spaghetti to serve and about 5 mins before this is ready take the lid of the bolognese to allow the excess liquid to evaporate.
4. Sprinkle over parmesan cheese and serve with the spaghetti.
