I make b&b pudding with buttered crossants..yum yum…and with blocks of white chocolate dotted around, absolutly devine and not good for the wasteline!
OMG! My first attempt at this recipe, and it is fantastic. I also added to the milk etc, 2 tablespoons of instant custard powder, and I buttered both sides of the bread and removed the crusts. Just have to stop myself eating all 6 portions that it made!
made homemade mince &dumplings & to top it off b&b pudding tonight we will realy be stuffed pudding looks delicious can,t wait
Just put this in the oven, smelling good. I used nutmeg instead of cinnamon as I prefer it, I also substituted some of the milk with cream, hoping it turns out ok! FAO chelsea akkaya, if you didn’t use eggs in this it wouldn’t set, they make it something like egg custard, so you’d probably just end up with a sloppy mess. If you used less milk maybe it would be sloppy underneath & dry on top, I wouldn’t bother trying it personally!
REALLY EASY PREPARTION TIME WAS BOUT 20 MINUTES I FIND TO MUCH DETAIL IT GOES WRONG SMELLS GOOD AND LOOKS GOOD ILL LET YA KNOW HOW TASTY IT IS THANK YOU FOR THE RECIPE XX
I saw an episode of Pie in the Sky and they had taken marmalade, heated it to thin, sieved the peel out and spread the remainder thinly onto the buttered bread. They also sprinkled vanilla sugar over the top. Might be worth a try!

Made this recipe tonight, used Danish white loaf (much lighter texture) and soft brown sugar, no vanilla or salt, just lots of cinnamon, because we like it.Took off the tin foil towards the end of cooking to brown the top. Result fantastic, easily enough for 4 people, will certainly make it again…….also I only rested it for 10 mins!! before it went in the oven
