A banana hollowed out and then filled with milk or dark chocolate. Strawberries can be added.
Ingredients
2 Whole Bananas
250g Chocolate (works well with Dairy Milk)
20g Strawberries (optional)
2 tsps icing sugar
Method
Melt the chocolate over boiling water or put it in the microwave at 800 degrees c for a 2 minutes and then stir. Repeat this method until the chocolate is smooth and with any lumps.
Peel the bananas and cut a two parallel slits down the middle about 1cm-1.5cm wide depending on the thickness of the banana. Scoop this out. Next pour the melted chocolate into the banana and it must be done evenly or the chocolate spills out and ruins the presentation. Quickly afterwards ( you don’t want the chocolate to set) chop up the strawberries into chips and place them upright in the chocolate. Sprinkle 1tsp of icing sugar per banana and serve.
