Ingredients
550g (1lb 4oz) Bramley apples
10ml (2tsp) low-calorie sweetener
15ml (1tbsp) lemon juice
25g (1oz) butter
100g (31 1/4 2oz) digestive biscuits
100g (31 1/4 2oz) chopped mixed nuts
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C, 350°F, gas mark 4. Peel, core and slice 550g (1lb 4oz) Bramley apples and place in a saucepan with 10ml (2tsp) low-calorie sweetener and 15ml (1tbsp) lemon juice. Cover and cook over a low heat until apples are softened.
2. Transfer the apples to an ovenproof dish. Melt 25g (1oz) butter and stir in 100g (31 1/4 2oz) digestive biscuits, crushed, until well blended. Stir in 100g (31 1/4 2oz) chopped mixed nuts.
3. Spoon the biscuit mixture over the apples evenly. Bake for 20 minutes until golden.

yea, you can use normal sugar…it will be sweeter and not as good for your teeth though
