How long to flapjacks remain edible for? (4 posts)

  • Avatar Image geoff said 6 months, 3 weeks ago:

Hi, I recently made a lot of flapjacks, they went down really well at a local fete but we have loads remaining – does anyone know how long these will last for?
I am thinking they should really be ok for quite a while considering that there are no eggs or anything like that which would go off?

    Any help would be appreciated!

Flapjacks last a long time, but to get the most out of them keep them in a cool place in an air tight container. I have found that this can keep them tasting pretty good for up to 10 days.
    Hope this helps

The ones I made on this site lasted for a week – in fact i would go far as to say they tasted even better the longer i left them – but after a week they were all gone, haha

I wrap the individual pieces in foil and this seems to keep them for a least a week. Hope that helps!
