Flapjacks last a long time, but to get the most out of them keep them in a cool place in an air tight container. I have found that this can keep them tasting pretty good for up to 10 days.

Caramelising onions is actually a little more tricky than you would think. I could tell you but I think this article sums it up pretty well.

Hi Geoff, I personally use Wusthuf knives, they have served me well for a number of years now and are easy to keep – just don't put them in the dishwasher as the handles will melt!
