I wrap the individual pieces in foil and this seems to keep them for a least a week. Hope that helps!

personally i prefer thigh, it has a bit more flavour to it compared to breast. In terms of which is healthier, I guess this all depends on how it is good and where the chicken came from! Boiled would be very healthy, but my favourite would have to be grilled chicken

I have been having an argument with my friend about the bit of the chicken which is best for you…I have always said it is the breast, it tastes the nicest and I thought had less fat. However she claims that the thigh is mch better for you?? Who is right?? or are we both [...]

Always a pleasure Geoff!
Other points to note, as has been mentioned elsewhere on the site, is make sure you don’t cook them straight from the fridge. Imagine what happens to yourself when cold, you tense up….same as the steak in the fridge! Makes for tough eating. The quality of the meat is of [...]

Thanks Craig, this is really useful…I always used to fry the steaks and found they weren’t that tasty (or as tasty as the restaurants) but using the grill pan made a big difference

I agree with Paul, reheating them the next day is not recommended. Just to add to the ehow article, a touch of sugar added to the pan will help the process along. They are of course the basis of the classic French Onion Soup, and which is all about the quality of the onions and [...]

Use a grill pan. Make sure it is very hot! Season your steak, lightly oil your pan, and cook on both sides until done to your liking. Always allow the steak to rest in a warm place before serving. this allows the meat to relax, preventing blood running over the plate and meaning the diner [...]

personally i think the secret is to cook it on a BBQ, if you grill or fry it will never taste the same as the ones you get in the restaurants.

Also, if you are using brown rice, add in a small amount more water as the rice will take but longer to cook compared to white rice.

i trebor, the easiest way of cooking rice in my opinion is to add a small amount of oil to the pan, add in the the rice, then twice the quantity of water (i.e. half a cup of rice, full cup of water). Bring the rice to the boil then turn down the heat to [...]
